We are so glad you are here! Key of Q needs your support in moving our board-governed, non-profit chorus forward through our next 10 years of joyful music-making in the Hudson Valley.
Key of Q’s mission is to be a fun and welcoming a cappella chorus of LGBTQ+ and allied singers who join together to perform inspiring, entertaining, and uplifting music while developing excellent musicianship.
Our vision is that our music creates harmony and joy, celebrates diversity, and unites communities.
Based in Kingston, NY, we’re an auditioned group of LGBTQ and allied singers from across the Hudson Valley who come together to perform beautiful a cappella music. Since 2016, we’ve focused on mostly modern secular repertoire that celebrates equality, love, and diverse identities. We present at least two themed concerts each year, along with smaller community and private performances.
Now that we are 10 years into our journey, Key of Q’s board has identified Development, Financial Literacy, Branding & Marketing and DEI as areas that need expertise outside of our chorus membership.
As part of our planning for the next decade of music making, we need people to join our board and board committees to bolster our skills. We meet quarterly, and committees meet two or three times before each upcoming quarterly meeting and generally serve two-year terms.
If this sounds like a good fit for you, please fill out this short google form and a member of the Key of Q board will reach out to continue the conversation in person.
